The auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra’s new sports utility vehicle XUV500 have got nearly 200 bookings from South Africa.
The sports utility vehicle was first launched in India on 29th sept
and the next day in South Africa. According to Mahindra, the vehicle has got tremendous response and the dealers over there seem pretty much excited about the vehicle. Mahindra also participated in the Johannesburg International Motor show with its subsidiary Mahindra South Africa. Amongst the top brands showing their best products, still XUV500 managed to get some tremendous encouraging.
The vehicle is priced at ZAR 2,39,900 or Rs 14.79 lakhs and ZAR 2,94,900 or Rs 18.18 lakhs in south Africa.
In India the XUV500 is priced at 10.8 and 11.95 lakhs ex-showroom price Delhi. It also created wide response in India also in just 10 days of its launch M&M got nearly 8,000 bookings compelling Mahindra to suspend its order till Oct 11.
